THE RESURRECTION & THE LIFE
A one to four-session deep dive into John chapter 11. Let’s examine together Jesus’ love for his friends Lazarus, Martha, and Mary in this chapter that all of the book of John hinges upon. We’ll unpack the reason behind seasons of waiting, Jesus’ theology lesson with Martha and how we can trust Him to move in this life, Jesus’ claim that He is the “Resurrection and the Life,” and the raising of Lazarus. We’ll see how this was the beginning of the end for Jesus and how He’s calling us too to “Come Out!” of what keeps us bound today.
ABIDING: THE ART OF REST
John 15:1-17 is one of my favorite passages in all of Scripture, and by the end of our time together, I hope you’ll see why. Jesus’ intimate instructions for His followers on the night before the cross gives us a glimpse into His heart for us to stop striving, rest in Him, and see where real fruit comes from - the Vine. When we remain in His love, our lives are abundant and our joy is complete.
